where does the time go???

less than 3 weeks until our quilt show.
the entries are in, the challenge fabric is cut & sewn, the goodies are baked & frozen (not yet but use your imagiantion here folks).
It is going to be an awesome show. I can feel it in my bones - or is that arthritis?!

all joking aside- We have an awesome list of vendors for you to shop from.
drum roll please -

ULTIMATE SEWING CENTRE, Oshawa. Shirley has been an awesome supporter of our guild.

COZY QUILTS - Our awesome raffle quilt was quilted - I should say "Shahena-fied" by the talented Shahena who was a founding executive member of Twisted Stitchers

SOFT IMPRESSIONS by LISA, Tilbury -home-based business with quilting tools, notions and books - cool!

QUILTERS CUPBOARD, Uxbridge - another favourite haunt of guild members.

PICTON FABRIC WORLD, Picton in the 'County' - Canada's answer to Sonoma!

It is never too early to do some....

Christmas shopping!! come see what our members will have in the boutique. We will have scissor holders, pin cushions, aprons and this lovely wallhanging for sale.

It is a fabric panel by Thomas Kincade through a window.

the countdown is on...

there is the smell of fresh pencils & laptops in the air. This, as a friend says, really is the beginning of the new year, even if your formal education days are decades behind you!
For the twisted stitchers that means quilt show preparations are in high gear. It is going to be a great show.
the challenge you ask?
the challenge is to use this fabric # 3003-45 by Mark Lipinski in a quilted piece no larger than 40"x40".
Here is my piece for the challenge. Come out to the show to see what the other guild members do with it!
